    Is there a 'holiday' setting, or do I just have to take my shops offline? Thanks :-)

    Yes there is. if you go to My Ebid >My Options> My Notices, there is an option to advise customers that you are on holiday. You can also compose a message that will be shown boldly at the top of all your listings.

    There is also a box to tick that means that no-one can bid on or buy your items. They can see them however.
