Thread: Non-Selling Sellers!

  1. #1

    Default Non-Selling Sellers!

We started a `Watch List` over 3 months ago of over 120 items from a seller who for some unknown reason, keeps all of his/her listings on Holiday Mode, keeps changing the date as to when they are re-opening but, continues to list more material on a weekly basis. We had a similar `comic` on eBay some years ago who kept this up for weeks, until they had listed more than 10,000 items. On this site, this NON-SELLING seller has amassed over 68,000 listings and still will not sell anything! Are we missing something here ??

Is there anything on the seller's listings or About Me page directing anyone viewing them to purchase elsewhere?

Had one a while back. A long auction and didn't answer my questions so never made a bid. The strange thing is he re-lists the same item on TOS again and again for less and it never sells there.

Perhaps these people like keeping themselves busy at their computers but don't know the way to the Post Office?

Change-We will be able to reopen on Sun 24th May. - 8.00pm.Family commitments.Apologies for further unavoidable delay.Your patience is very much appreciated at this difficult time. .We cannot respond to messages until then.

This is the `latest` change of dates! We have now had 6 different dates and still they keep listing more!

We have now decided to delete everything from our Watch List, as we feel that if they can keep re-posting a different `date`, the least they can do is answer messages! This site needs to weed out idiots like these and dump them for good.

Buttons may have the idea correct..They may be using ebid to keep stocklist then transfer elsewhere (copies I mean)...or perhaps they have found a way of using ebid as a master page for a website they are running...in other words it may be the opposite of what we expect.

Which is why I asked (and didn't get an answer to) if there was anything in their presence on eBid that would entice buyers to go elsewhere to complete a purchase after landing here.
