- a new buyer has obviously signed up this morning - bid on some of my items - and now later in the day I note that the user is no longer active; whaaaa... already?
So when the auction closes in a day or so, what happens then? - see pics below:

Very often they have be reinstated by then - it's so often an error in entering post codes or the email address
Madelaine
4 shops for Cats Protection & Prospect Hospice
My Postcard Shop
BK Stamps for Philatelic listings
& Yarnalong for craft patterns
and
Lotzabitz -anything that doesn't belong in one of the other shops.
Madelaine is right, it's probably just a glitch in the buyer's information.
If you're concerned, (I would be, too) you can always contact support: support@ebid.net as they should be able to tell you what's going on.
Best wishes for many sales to all,
well, nothing changed - auction ended - I'm in limbo land - contacted support to see what they say...
I've sent an invoice anyway!

No change in the user status to date, but the sales have disappeared from my sold list and yet the sales fees remain on my invoice!
Contacted eBid Support for clarity and/or refund.
Not a lot of help in this case because it was an auction bid, but...
If it was a buy it now then you would have had an e-mail address provided in your successful sale confirmation. Also I run analytics which means I can see where the buyer is from when they land on one of my listings. Having the info on where they are is useful because in the majority of no longer active cases the buyer may be arriving at eBid from abroad - but joined up on the uk site, that causes the strike through (quite rightly).
So in about 99% of these cases I can tell the buyer why they have the problem and either tell them what to do or try and sort it out for them. I can't actually remember the last time when I didn't manage to get the sale and payment to complete ok - and I have had 100's of these over the years.
Worth considering because in time you will almost certainly get more of these.
