Still the only way people tend to pay online. |run by greedbay) and so in favor of buyers. Had a buyer start a dispute within a day. No contact nothing. SO of course Money on hold until god knows when despite the buyer writing on poopal that he's now happy. And all the money is stopped not just the one item that was slightly faulty (Not faulty really it was a loose battery caused by movement in the post?) So now it takes time and effort to Sort out and Iv'e done nothing wrong. I can understand some people that have had problems starting a dispute but come on Check the reputation CONTACT them first!.

Paypal is rigged to favor the Buyer. But it's a Monopoly so what can you do? It's not all bad it is fairly reliable way of transmitting money and the fees are not that unreasonable.

Hopefully someday eBid will become a formidable rival to eBay and force it to treat Sellers with the respect they deserve.

It would be great if eBid had a viable payment alternative to Poopal, from what I've heard PPPay isn't there yet.

BTW: I love that name, Poopal, it fits.

Bought from a new seller here this week and he had opted for PPPay. i had not noticed and assumed it was Paypal until I was into it. Despite all the warnings I've seen here I went ahead...and it worked very efficiently. No problem at all....so far as I am concerned it is "there"!

That's good to know, a refreshing change from what I used to read on the forums, maybe I'll look into offering it on some of my listings.
