    Default Exporting Details from eBid

Hi, I am going to be preparing listings to put on here, I intended preparing them in the defaults section and just paring them untill needed; then I thought I should really back them up.

I have some queries regarding this:

    • Is it possible to use the import/export facility with Apache Open Office software? (The eBid help only mentions microsoft, but I am hoping that other software is also compliant).
    • Can I import/export from the defaults section, or would I have to list them first? (This seems a little pointless as they will be closed immediatley after).
    • Can I re-ntroduce these listings one at a time, rather than in bulk?

I am having a website to direct traffic to my store, and would like to build a back catalogue in the time before it is up and running. I have read that spiders scans sites and when they find that the content has changed they boost the site rather than let it fall down the rankings. So I reckon that if I place a listing each day it will be more beneficial than placing a batch of them together.

    Thanks for any help.

Now there's an eBid facility I didn't know about.

I use Apache Open Office, export all my listings as a backup. It saves them as .txt files, I have to open and then save to an .xls file to open as a spreadsheet, but it works fine.
