    I'd rather buy 10 for £5.50
Morrisons are always doing things like that - no wonder they're losing customers.

To be honest they all do, luckily I would hope that most on here would spot it, but I bet there are plenty who don't.

Had an error myself today at another store. This time the shelf price said £0.39 but at the till I was charged £0.49. Problem was I bought 50 so it was a £5.00 difference.

I see that kind of trickery all the time in the grocery stores here.

Thought the bill was high so luckily I checked and spotted the error - and got a full refund of the £5. If it had been Tesco I think their policy is to give double the error back, in some stores, I think Sainsbury's was one they used to give you the items and a full refund.

Yes, Tesco has a double the difference policy which is how it should be everywhere. I had a row in Morrisons when they just gave me my money back because, as I said to the manager, what's the downside for them? If I hadn't noticed the error they'd have made money so what's stopping them doing it again? For all I know it's company policy to overcharge to increase profits! The manager gave me a 'goodwill' voucher for £5 and guess what, when I spent it I was overcharged again!
