Can't find my Items in the Search ebid here?

I'm new and found it easy to set up store but can't find my items in search? Any help?

my items are Montana west handbags

No problems. What search term are you using?

I tried just the word "Montana" and selected "Start Time Most Recent". They show up on the first page. The same thing when I entered "Messenger Bag". The titles are not the same as the words you entered in the search box.

well found it but now i see that when i enter montana west bags int the buy search it only shows 7 bags? I have 17 bags should they all show?

"Montana West Bag" brings up all 17 for me. "Montana West Handbag" only brings up 7 because the other ten use the single world "Handbag".

If you use bags sometimes and handbags others, and purse another, then "Montana West *" is for you.

There is another thread regarding a few problems with the search, it is one of those things that is sometimes altered to hopefully improve things. The best thing you can do is to try to get your listings so that a potential buyer can find your items, and unfortunately they will all use a different search term for the same item. You can put all the possibilities in the title, so 'bag' and 'handbag' to catch both terms, but it can make things look untidy. In a way you have helped yourself, because as things stand a potential buyer has a good chance of finding at least some of your listings, and like any store if you can get them through the door they might browse and find the others and then hit that buy button.

I know where you're coming from Bill but the majority of buyers will not use a wild card.
