    Hi Marie

I know the US is in the process of lifting the ban on Cuban items, but you may want to play safe:-

Ask your customer NOT to pay any eBid invoice you send

Create a Paypal invoice, quoting the Ebid invoice number only, and get your customer to pay this. The Paypal bots have nothing to pick up on this way, I have used this sucessfully many times now, having been caught out once and suspended for selling Cuban stamps (even though they are not on the list!!)

    All the best

    John

Actually, I didn't have a sale, but I noticed a seller who did sell some Cuban coins with PayPal as payment option.

I took my Cuba and Sudan coins down when I became aware of the embargo list. Don't want to take a chance. But, I had heard on the news that U.S. government was working in that direction, so I wondered if anyone knew the updated status.

I removed Paypal as an option on my few Cuban and Sudanese stamps. This will mean that anyone wanting to buy any of these will have to pay by another method or contact me. I have had problems twice and do not want to have my Paypal account closed. I just wish someone would take Paypal to court for breaking EU regulations.
