listings missing listing relisted after being sold

just found 10 lots of new plastic buttons that should be in my "1980's & beyond store" they are not there and ive searched my listings and cannot find them. Very odd. Are these the 10 missing items??

no... they are a different sort of missing! There is the problem of finding things that are listed but not in your stores, the problem that we cannot trust the ebid totals a lot of the time and, lastly, and most sinister of all, there are items which we have listed which have slipped off eBid completely. Have you tried searching archived for them? That sometimes finds them.

Thanks madelaine i will search now but i dont understand why they have been archived they should be up for sale?

I dont think i will able able to find them in the archive because i dont make a note of the auction number until ive sold an item! so i will have to take fresh photos and relist them

When i list something i expect it to stay there until sold or manually/automatically relisted

No-one knows why except that it happens. I search for as much of the title as I can remember.

If i list these 10 items again is it possible that the original listings might appear again ?? I would hate to list these items and find that the original listings turn up again in the future.

not in my experience - but keep a running total of how many listings you have and, if it alters when you have done nothing and nothing has sold, it is time to panic!
