Suggest that they hit retry? It sounds like an internet speed issue rather than an ebid one.

Oh no ! This is NOT GOOD. I've also had a newbie customer not able to pay with Paypal and she said her ebay payments had gone through fine. She ended up having to send me a cheque for her item here. I reported it to support a couple of days ago Raindropsies and this was the reply I got.

Eek, what is going on ? The buyer I mentioned above, that couldn't pay with Paypal, has just sent me an email saying how pleased she was with her item, so I asked if she would be kind enough to leave a feedback for me which she said she was happy to do. I have just had this email from her :-

I have given up as somehow I can't get into my account.


I am probably not going to use it again so I am not going to spend time on it.


Can I send you something so that you can post on your account??

What a great experience for a new buyer here, it's no wonder she can't be bothered to come back !

I am using an iPad and it is not recognising my user ID or password - have done everything, even changed the password. An iPad isn't brilliant but I use it all the time for eBay and had similar problems when I first started which are now sorted (fine on a PC but not always on a iPad).


I would preserve and log onto a PC or laptop at work and try and sort it out but I probably won't be using eBid again unless I am looking for something specific.


Hopefully, it will allow me to leave feedback when they send a reminder out!
