More money for less service as usual.
It looks like they also changed the max weight of 13oz for First Class Package to 15.9999oz before mail is considered Priority Mail.

Have not seen any changes to calculated here on eBid yet. Listings are still set to old prices.

And now they may be DEcreasing: "This month, the USPS Office of Inspector General said market-dominant prices will drop on April 10th an average of 4.3 percent unless Congress enacts postal legislation that makes the exigent rates permanent, or the federal appeals court issues a ruling favorable to the Postal Service."

I know it probably hurts my sales NOT using Calculated Postage but with all the "ups & downs" and a lot of my items falling in the First Class range I think it is best for a potential buyer to contact me so I can offer them current prices and shipping options.

It's pay for the shipping or do without...
The sooner folks realize this the better off everyone is going to be.
I've been shipping heavy ( 70 lbs ) and light ( 2 lbs ) for 30 years, when they want it they'll pay the freight
I purchase a few items online, do I like shipping charges ?...of course not, however, if I cannot get it locally then what do I do ?
I never made money on shipping, only charged actual shipping and in some case lost on some items and picked up on others.
All in all a very fair exchange I believed.

When I list with weights above 13oz. I get the message it is no longer 1st Class and the postage is increased instead of what is listed on the price increase chart. Could this be explained. Thank You.

Be best to ask your local Postmaster to get accurate information.

What I mostly noticed was monster increases in low weight first class packages from the US to foreign destinations. I used to charge $8.00 flat fee for packages (items in a bubble mailer) under 3oz and it covered me 90% of the time... I just sold one and the mailing cost is now $13.50?!?!?! That's insane...
