The suggestion was not to stop talking but to suspend the thread just as the Remain and Leave camps have done.

Well... the only activity would seem to be the discussion over the suggestion to close the thread for the weekend - rather self-defeating. Not that I would have entertained the suggestion.

My family are from Guernsey....my mum was born there.

I think the exit camp gets my vote just for that

Don't forget it was the EU restrictions on trade union's powers that lead to the rise of zero hours contracts too.

So just so I'm clear here...

You're saying that UK law allows for better terms and conditions for UK employees than EU law. Yes/No?

If yes, then that presumably means that the whole argument that unelected EU bureaucrats are imposing unwanted laws on the UK is a complete nonsense as clearly we are able to ignore them in favour of our own laws, as demonstrated by your graphic.

It would seem that we can "take our country back", whatever that means, without leaving the EU after all.

that slightly disingenuous of you , holiday entitlement is traditionally worked out with employers, with a minimum of government intervention ie minimum entitlement .

its very unfair of you to compare holiday entitlement to the whole raft of eu regulations/laws ,you made no distinction, which we can not revoke we have to apply them as you well know,

no one has taken our country away, the point is we want to govern are own country , and not be treated as tenants by absentee landlords, i seem to remember the scottish government having to deal with a similar problem.
