    Default Question for Buttons

As you may know I work for a charity shop, and we have done a clearance today.

Amongst the items was a Sindy wardrobe, with lots of clothes inside, it is also in it's box, everything is very dirty as it came out of an attic room.

So the question is "is it worth anything, or should it just go out with the general toys that we have?"

The wardrobe in a box it would depend on the colour of the wardrobe, the clothes i would have to see so I could say if they were genuine Sindy but me being doll mad would probably want them, if they are dirty it will affect the price as some of the early clothes being natural fibers run when washed, can you take a picture for me to have a look.XX

The wardrobe is a very early one.
On the top the dress with the black top and tartan skirt is sindy, Pink dress with lace is sindy I think, the jeans and striped tops go together along with the white sneakers. tennis balls and racket are Sindy. Yellow beach bag is Sindy, the cape is sindy. blue and white dress with red trim is fairy Glen and the tartan hat is lady penelope. Black tights and shoes look all sindy. Only problem is nothing is complete, if you had the rest of the outfits they are worth more but nothing is rare, what were they hoping to get for them. I can't see the other stuff good enough. I think at best it would be £15 for the lot, If they want to sell for £15 i would have it, or list it on OS I just priced one up on the other side it was £22 but it also had a Sindy and Patch doll with it. seems things are selling cheaper and cheaper these days in the doll world.

I think there was a lot of unmet demand in lots of collectable areas. Before internet auctions, you had to get into the car & go out and find a dealer and see what they had. Now you just search. The decision to buy just depends on having the money, not the luck to find the item.

There is also the situation where if people see something sell online for a surprising amount the market immediately becomes flooded with that item (by people that have them but hadn't realised they were worth anything) and the price crashes.

    Market forces.
