Thank you all so much for my birthday wishes and thank you to all for the wonderful support you have given me over the last week, both on the forums and by post, it has been a tremendous comfort reading all your kind messages.



This week my feet haven't touched the ground. It's been constant phone calls, trips to hospital bereavement office, registrar, solicitor, banks, building societies, funeral directors, contacting pensions people, cancelling things, trying to find things ! I never want to be an executor again !!!!! My brother and his girlfriend have been a great help though and his OCD traits have come in quite useful (although exhausting at times !) as everything is sorted and labelled neatly in files for me !

Hoping to just relax this evening, my brother has gone off for a couple of days break to Wales and I will be going out for a meal with Cadet Malcolm and his girlfriend. I shall be taking one more week off as the cremation is next week and I shall then have my long weekend away in Cornwall that I had planned long ago. So I shall expect the eBid army barracks to be pristine and everyone on their best behaviour for when I return on the 18th !
