Moonie - I'm with you - I've done a lot of counted X-stitch but much prefer embroidery as keeping count of the lines and number of stitches to do gives me a headache too! Mom will be 80 soon so has had lots of years of practice. I wish I could have got a better picture, as it's hard to tell that some of her flowers are actually done in 3D and she's added pearls into some which don't show well. A year later, I'm still taking it off the wall to get a closer look at her amazing work.

Vivien - love your first Priscilla picture. The 2nd has been done very well too but I've never been a big fan of abstract art like Picasso's. Just an FYI - when you go Advanced to post attachments, there is a Preview button you can click to see how things will turn out when they post. Took me a bit to see it but was grateful because I didn't have to go back and edit if I posted something wrong.

Sadly, I am more autistic than artistic when it comes to creating visual art. I am, however, quite jealous of the talent demonstrated above. That Bowie picture is particularly brilliant.
