This morning I have a package with postcards in it. It says "Donation for Pussy cats". So kind of someone but I have no idea and no clues as to who it is.

Oh, very funny! I sell predominantly postcards for Cats Protection on here. It started with my husband's step-father's collection which his family were going to throw away. It took me several years to list them all but now I get steady, if not sensational sales, and my local branch of Cats Protection introduce me to people as "This is Madelaine. She raises tons of money for us."

It comes to about £20 per month which looks good to the branch because they have to do nothing to get it.

I thought it was about making money, salting it away in offshore bank accounts - and losing it, while paying the fat-cats [no pun intended] huge salaries.

The money I make goes to the local branch which is run entirely by volunteers who work extremely hard. I know them. I know what they do and why.
