Question Questions about becoming a seller on ebid

Hello everyone... I've been a seller on many other sites for years with some limited amount of success, and was thinking of signing up on eBid as a seller... can anyone tell me a little bit about the 'foot traffic' on this site as compared to other sites, and does this site have the ability to do csv imports / exports to automate the process of creating listings and updating listings? Also, what are the fees to sell on this site? I saw that they offer 'Seller +' for roughly $50 and that gets you a no fees setup, is there a standard seller account that is non plus, and if so, how much does that cost? would it be a setup fee like the '+' or would that be fees per sale? I'm really just looking for any information that will help me make a decision whether or not to sign up as a seller, right now I've got a buyer only account... Thanks !

Welcome to eBid! Will do my best to answer some of your questions.

Personally, I don't have much experience with many other sites ... only the other eSite. 'Foot traffic' here is slower since it is a smaller site. But to be honest, I actually sell about the same on both sites.

If you click on the arrow next to 'eBid Help' at the top of the page and scroll down to 'fees and charges' I think you will find the answer to your money questions.

If that doesn't give you the information you need or if you have other questions, please stop back at the forums. Someone is usually around to answer questions.

I am one of the biggest stockists on Ebid, and that is my formula for selling far more on Ebid than I could anywhere else.

So, if you can stock a lot of items for no listing fee, no risk, then you compensate for the lower footfall on Ebid.

So stock much more than you would elsewhere and it is likely to work out about the same sales, but at a far lower cost.

However, some items seem to sell more readily than others. Check out what others in your sales category are saying.
