I've been having the same problem (for weeks) using Opera (Chrome based). I've written to Support more than once, sent all the requested info and different screenshots etc etc etc but the problem has still not been fixed.

It's a real pain in the proverbial. I have to sign out of Opera then sign in to Firefox before I can achieve.... not good.

    .

edit: and even when you click on to the suggested main site link it still doesn't work....

I use Opera and have just tried a test listing. No problems at all.

Now deleted as only for test purposes.

Yep, saved my listing to My Defaults, then went to Sell an item as above, chose cat etc etc etc ad infinitum and ad nauseum - then populated my listing - then clicked to preview and WHAM! Gone! Poof! Off in a cloud of Opera smoke.....

Getting it back via Firefox is not impossible - but I can tell you this - two day camel rides are not my thing so until it's fixed I ain't playin' no more.

Got a friend who uses Opera with no issues same as you - we use same OS and regularly update - there's no rhyme or reason for the discrepancy in use.

Yes, you get all the way to preview your listing and the only way to recover is to save to defaults, sign in to another browser and then use the default.

I had this problem with Chrome. I Googled it and it appears to be a Chrome security feature. But it is difficult to disable, if you are not a Comp Techi and I am not.

Yes. I think Astral came up with a solution on another thread but it was beyond me too.

Have you tried listing with Chrome in Incognito mode? You access it via the three dots in the upper right corner:

It's proved helpful on other listing/social sites when things aren't working properly. Hope you get it figured out soon

You could just stop using Chrome if it is so much of a problem.

Well, yes, Tony... funnily enough I'd worked that one out, but I didn't really think that eBid Towers would be pleased to find that using a major browser made listing a baroque fuss

edit.. Sorry that reply is a bit acid, but I used to be a computer programmer and have been selling online since 2001
