I feel a bit the same about technologies such as iris recognition - will my iris pattern be recognised when I have an eye injury? Will my face dimensions show up correctly when I've had a dental procedure or a fall bruising my face?

Will someone chop of your finger to use it for the finger print reader at your job or house...

It's already happening in a way with bank cards with PINs. They have to kidnap and torture the person to get the PIN so they can use the ATM. If they were smart they would allow users to add an additional distress PIN that would alert the police, but otherwise work normally.
