My prescriptions are free here in England too but the NHS don't prescribe the meds I use so I had to buy them. I have run out of funds now so having to stop all meds.

The same meds I was using are available on prescriptions overseas though

My meds aren't prescribed...I can't get medical Marijuana on prescription so went out and bought a vape thingummy with CBD oil cartridges.

I also buy meds for my heart failure (meds available on prescription in the states but not in the UK). I'm likely to run out of them soon but I don't go out to work so can't buy any more.

Ah Understand now (the medical Marijuana one anyway).
I'm lucky in that the four heart meds I have to take are NHS listed and I was put out to grass some years ago!
