    Default Deleting Photos

Hello-I'm new. I notice i can't delete photos from My Gallery after listing auctions. Are they automatically deleted at a later date? Or should i be able to delete them?
    Thanks for any advice
    Jeff

    Morning Jeff,

Unused photos will be deleted 365 days after they are uploaded.

A photo is "in use" while it is in a live listing and also 75 days after the listing closes.

Also, if you make a mistake and upload a photo you don't want, when you go to add a photo inside the actual listing form, you can also delete a picture from your gallery. If you look, it has Use This Photo or Delete this photo. But once in use, the above applies.

I would not worry about deleting pictures after you start a listing, there is really no real reason to do so.

    Hope this helps.

Actually I disagree, I'd prefer not to have the clutter in my gallery. But I've never suggested it as an enhancement, there are too many other things that still aren't implemented.

You can delete any unwanted photos directly. Go to My eBid>My gallery. To the left of each photo is a delete button. Click on it to delete that photo.

As the facility to delete photos aleady exists (see above) there is no need to suggest it as an "enhancement".

So I can, thanks Tony. Apologies for cluttering the thread.

Why didn't someone tell kyvinylcdman that, I wonder.
