So to start this off, I will talk about the UK forecast for the coming days.
It looks like we are in for a colder spell. In place of warmer than average temperatures, we are due to see a colder, unsettled week with possible snow showers in the north and colder nights everywhere.

Tuesday Night
The area of low pressure will track northeastward through the Irish Sea overnight from Tuesday into Wednesday bringing further heavy rain to eastern part of Ireland, Wales, western parts of England and southern Scotland. It will also bring snow to higher ground over central Scotland and the southern Highlands. It will be a very windy night for the southern half of the country with gales possible in the southwest. Overnight lows will fall to -1 to 9C.

Wednesday
Low pressure will stay over the northern part of the Irish Sea on Wednesday before moving over southern Scotland and into the North Sea through the early evening. It will be a breezy day and Northern Ireland, northwest England and Scotland will see further bursts of heavy rain. Snow will continue over the Highlands and Grampians. To the south, behind the main band of heavy rain will follow a mixture of sunny spells and showers. Highs widely at 5 to 11C, though 13C or 14C is possible in the southeast.

Thursday
Low pressure moves to the east on Thursday while high pressure builds to the west bringing the UK and Ireland into a north to northeasterly air flow. A band of rain will sweep south over Northern Ireland, Ireland, England and Wales through the day, easing as it goes. Behind this rain band to the north it will be mostly dry and bright. Northeastern parts of Scotland and the Grampians could see some persistent snow showers, particularly in areas exposed to the prevailing northerly wind. Feeling cool in the wind with highs at 4 to 10C.

Friday
A weak ridge of high pressure should bring a dry day for many, with sunny spells. A threat of some sleet in northwest Scotland, this easing. Fronts bringing cloud and rain into Ireland, this area edging eastwards into the whole of Ireland and the western parts of the UK later i the day. Staying dry to the east. Highs at 4 to 10C.

Saturday
Low pressure to the north of Scotland on Saturday, a ridge of higher pressure building to the south. A strong westerly wind bringing showers to many western coasts and hills. The showers will be heavy at times, wintry on hills. Brighter to the south and east and across southern Ireland. Highs at 6 to 10C.

Sunday
An area of low pressure passes eastwards across the UK and Ireland on Sunday. This brings an area of strong winds and heavy rain with it. There is a risk of that rain turning to sleet and snow, mainly on hills, but the risk at lower levels cannot be ruled out. Highs at 3 to 8C.
