Items not showing up in Google, let alone Google Shopping

I haven't sold a thing for two months. This is especially strange because we listed some very popular, limited collectibles from the Comic-Con in San Diego, at very competitive prices. The best one has only had three views. I checked this item on both Google and Google Shopping, went in several pages until it got to the stage where it's only listing remotely similar items. Not there.

If this is happening with all our listings, i can understand why no one is buying!

Does anyone else have a clue? Has anyone else checked their search results lately?

Try it, search for "Jack Ryan Swag Bag". And I do have "Comic Con" in the title. That's the other potential search word.

My items don't seem to show up on Google Shopping unless I put the word eBid in the title. Nobody searching is going to do that.

It took a long time for Canada to be included in Google Shopping. Then I spent lots of time amending listings to add codes or exempt and revising so that items would be uploaded once Canada was included. For a time I saw a lot of my items on Google Shopping.

Is Google phasing out Google Shopping like they did Google + ?

Has eBid Towers let us know something about this (and I missed it)?

I'm not as upset about not showing up on Google Shopping.

I am very unhappy that plain old vanilla Google doesn't list them. There aren't that many, this was one of the limited supply items handed out at Comic-Con.

I agree about basic Google too, Tia. It seems that eBid items are nowhere to be found on either a general Google search or Google Shopping as well.

I just put in lefton stacking teapot for Google Shopping and 20 items came up *** all were mine.

Hope they get yours up too. I searched for your Jack Ryan Swag Bag but no matter how I looked even including eBid in the search it didn't come up.

Your sales have come through YDC's, according to your feedback Penni and not through google. I think we all know that ydc sales come through the site and not through advertising.

While YDC auctions continue to run on eBid, there is no way a ??????????????????????????. Work it out for yourselves and enjoy eBid as much as I have done for 11 years.

Gill, Penni is talking about her ordinary sales and not the YDC.

YDC things wouldn't be on Google shopping as the items only have an auction price of 99p or less and not a buy it now, so they are not relevant to this thread.
Our feedback may look top heavy with YDC items but that is because not many buyers (especially guest buyers) leave feedback for ordinary sales !
