Help, I'm New! Photos not showing up on listing

Hi, I'm new to eBid and have an issue with the photos on my first listing! The photos show up when you click on the listing, but not on the page where listings are all together. So, of course, no one is going to look at a listing that has no photo. I edited the listing,(more than once) and even imported the photos 2 different ways. I saved my changes each time. I'd really appreciate any help that you can give me.

On another note, could you please tell me what a price in green means? And does red mean that the item has sold and the sale is over?

Be sure that when adding or editing a listing you select the gallery option, that will make it show the pic in search results.



If you are looking at live listings in a search result a Red price is a fixed price listing, a Green price is an auction listing.

Yes, the Gallery option gets your pic displayed in search results. Worth it (only gets charged when your item sells).

Yes, the Gallery option gets your pic displayed in search results. Worth it (only gets charged when your item sells).

Is this something that is not made clear enough in the FAQs? I've wondered why there is someone listing items in the glass category I use and although they are registered as Seller+, as is the OP, their listings don't have a thumb-nail picture on the results page. As the OP says no-one is likely to look at a listing without a photo.

It seems perfectly clear to me in the Fees section.
I think some sellers are obsessed with the false economy of listing for free. Yes, you can sell with no listing fee and with no FVF but you don't get a thumbnail picture.

Yes, I see what you mean now. Definitely a false economy if they are trying to sell glass, especially when it costs so little to have one.
