Tony, thank you for explaining that. I cancelled all my ebay listings, a few of which I listed here with different titles. But I've put about 50 new items on here to 'test the waters' which I had not ever listed anywhere else. Some are common (vintage vacuum tubes), which I know most likely will not sell unless someone needs a few and can combine from my stock. But the unique items (vintage TV radio related repair parts) I may only get one shot to sell to that one individual fixing up grandma's old console, and I want them to be able to find it! Thanks, Dan - dadsgoodies.
booksntings, and Anniemcc2, I will certainly look at those facebook pages and see if they would apply to me. Thank you, Dan of dadsgoodies.
The group I started is Great Stuff on eBid.
I have several thousand contacts on Facebook so item and store links get shared to all those contacts every day
I just sent a join request.
Status update: I added a store (before I was just listing as an individual), I added 'exempt' under the barcode category, I imported my 1000+ feedback from another site, and I changed all my listings from 'run until sold' to '7 day auto repost'. I have just tried and finally have found a few of my listings on google search engine. Now, a couple of my items are listed by other individuals on other sites, and mine does not show up (even though I have intentionally priced mine 30-50% cheaper), but, by golly, we have some light at the end of the tunnel now!
I know I can do more, but my learning curve is a wee bit on the slow side, so I will take baby steps.
Thanks for the guidance and help, Dan
