Goodbye Saturday Post

From the CWU union. Royal Mail has informed the union that they intend to end all letter post on Saturdays. They have said they intend to continue Saturday parcel delivery.
This will lead to slower delivery for items sent letter & large letter. No news what will happen to special delivery Saturday delivery.
No idea atm when they plan to implement this yet

from what I could make out from the CWU live stream they seem to have been left under the impression that 'temporary' may be longer than temporary

Are you referring to the one where Hermes was taking parcels to an auction several times a week, supposedly 'undeliverable' but still with addresses? Absolutely disgraceful. Good that Joe's team managed to get some to their owners.
