YDC 185 Update

Just catching up with everyone as the next YDC is due to start September 24th

I'm really wanting your thoughts on this

Is September still OK for the next one or are some still in a bit of a muddle?

I would guess Sept might be ok, but would wait awhile to see if we are going to get another spike.....actually I mean, how long the second spike will last. I suspect it will start cooming sooner than later, seeing all the pics of the bars and beaches.

Several pubs have had to close after this weekend already, one on my home town

I think you could be right to hold things off for a bit...I really wanted to hear from a few of the members as I know some are having issues sourcing stock at this time.

I have voted to hang on a bit.
As much as I love YDC I don't feel confident enough to take part just yet.
I haven't left the house since all the CV outbreak began, as with my Bronchiectasis and nill immunity system I wouldn't stand a chance of fighting Covid.
I could ask others to post my stuff, if absolutely necessary.
Shall we hang on a bit and wait and see how things pan out?

Whatever I would post would have to fit through a mail slot as we are isolating and I'd have to drive to the mailbox in town.

That was one of my suggestions for the next YDC, that we all sold stuff that we didn't have to take to the post office. I thought it would make it simpler for self isolating people, like myself as neighbours would be more likely to agree to a walk to a mail box to help out, rather than a trip into town.

I suggested this because I dropship so wouldn't be asking neighbours to help, but recognise that I'm in a minority here who dropships.

Billy and I have been self isolating since before the official lockdown as Billy has COPD, we both have heart failure and my immune system is shot to bits because of the Multiple Sclerosis.....thankfully I have someone to send out all my stuff from a huge warehouse somewhere in the known universe.
