    Default Making a listing help

Hello, I’ve spent most of yesterday setting up a listing, but Starting Bid and Reserve Price can’t be entered. How do I get round this?

Have you got the Run Until Sold button selected?

    Welcome to the Forum
Thanks. Another question if I may. I’ve got an item all ready to list, but it’s currently in MyDefaults - does it move into a listing on its own or do I have to do something?

    .

Click the Help button, top of this page.

Go to No 3 - Selling - how to list

Not sure how you started off in your Defaults.... but go to Help > No 3 - Selling to find the answer to this one ....

Great! I see you have your listing up - ? as new is not new?

Bidding wars are not the norm here - if it is new would you be happy at the auction price? If it is not new, that is one heck of a BIN price?

No Barcode = no upload to Google Shopping where most sales come from here on eBid - you will need to either put a barcode in the Item Specifics section of your listing, or put in the word EXEMPT if it doesn't have one.

If you have arrived from another selling platform this vehicle does not drive like others! lol! just like the bikes, sites are all different!

    Good luck !

As new means it’s been assembled and tested for 2.5 km. I’ve no idea what the rest means - maybe I should remove it?

No!!! It just needs tweaking ! IMHO

Maybe consider listing as Unused rather than New? If it is Brand New, then the auction price is frightening for you as there are not many bidders here IMO.......

Google shopping - eBid has to meet certain criteria otherwise Google will not allow eBid to upload our listings to Google Shopping which means you won't get many potential Buyers looking at your item.....therefore the barcode needs to be put into the barcode box on the Item Specific section of your listing form. (eg for vintage items, handmades, etc, where there is no Barcode then the word Exempt would have to be written instead of the Barcode numbers.

Would you be happy to only get one bid price if there are not many bidders/buyers about?

Hoping this is helping - I am just trying to pass on some years knowledge here.....
