Now that I know I have used the fabric for the above quilt, anything other scrap fabric can be use for my flip and fold quilt and for these mini crazy quilt blocks.

I can feel comfortable to use any scrap fabric to work on these pieces to increase the sizes.

    That patchworking is amazing!

I'm sitting most evenings, making small granny squares but haven't decided what the finished piece will be

I manage to almost use up all the scrap pieces. All that is left are 2 handfuls of brightly color fabric that I couldn't mix in this flip and fold quilt.

A scrappy flip and fold quilt top. Hopefully, by next winter that the quilts will have backs on them.
Just happy that the tops are done and the box of scraps are gone.

Then going in my strip and square cut fabrics, I have these blocks to work with.
The big blocks actually made the smaller blocks. ( I'm lazy and made it simple )
I used 5 inch squares and laid 4 inch square on top, facing each other.
Did a double diagonal stitch on the 4 inch to form the corner and then just cut between the double stitching and then I get the second, smaller block.

Made some new cat pillow tucks with a cutter quilt. It was just an old quilt top made from feed sacks. Trying to work around all the weak fabric pieces. I used fusible interfacing to reinforce the quilt fabric.

I have more to sew and stuff.

    Another project/supplies gone.
I still have 2 other cutter quilts to use up and like to get those off the "to do list".

Nothing so impressive as Policequilts' efforts but I am knitting early for Christmas - New's year's resolution was to knit a stocking every Monday until the red yarn is gone.Name: IMG_5042.jpg

    * How much RED yarn do you have?
    * How many stockings will you be making?
    * Will the red stockings be up for sale for the cat rescue place you help?
They look small and perfect for a mouse (catnip filled) or something special for a cat.

    LOVE THEM!
