Here's some from my collection -- examples of some of the smallest and largest coins issues by the RM for circulation, some in the UK and some "Colonials". From the tiny 1&1/2d (issued for the W. Indies) and 3d (UK), in tray 1. To the 5 Shilling "Crown" and in the bottom row 4 Shilling "Double Florin" (all UK). In the last column are some Colonials including a British Trade Dollar, most of which were minted in India.

You might be interested to know that the 1935 Crown was the first "Commemorative" coin ever issued by the Mint. Up until then, the only coins issued to commemorate anything (usually coronations) were a few Proof Sets of circulation coins, handed out to friends, high officials and overseas royalty by the monarch or government.

One reason I started my silver collection by collecting the "First year of issue" was that anyone who wanted a keepsake of Coronations or Jubilees would often keep whichever circulating coin(s) they could afford. So many were taken out of circulation that very often they are easier to find and in Uncirculated condition. It made collecting high grade coins easier on my pocket. For example the Uncirculated 1902 Crown cost about half the price of an 03 or 04, being far more common.
