Default Listings default to Fixed price. How do I submit items for auction?

I am new to Ebid. Every thing that I try to list for action becomes a fixed price item. What am doing wrong?

    Hi, newbie here too

Did you change any settings under My Defaults> Selling Defaults and set it to Fixed price?

Alternatively, on your new listing's page, the Start Listing options, toggle between Immediately & After Bid to see if that unchecks the Fixed price box?

    All the best

Hi tigermoth2, welcome to eBid. In the price section on the listing form you need to untick the little 'fixed price' square which is just underneath the 'Buy now and make an offer' box. Once this in unticked then you will be able to put in a bid price etc.

Also a good idea to get rid of 'run until sold' as this will keep your items at the bottom of the lists. Much better to use the 10 auto reposts for a set number of days and then your items will rise to the top.

Make sure you have a 'buy it now' price and put the word 'Exempt' into the bar code box if it has no code to get your items onto Google Shopping. Hope this helps.

Should look like this in edit, without fixed being ticked:
