My question. Are sellers / buyers here having any problems with the length of time it is taking for delivery via various postal systems because of ongoing issues with Covid?

Marie, so sorry to hear you have not been well. Hope you are back to 100%.

United States Postal Service has been slower for items that are not sent via Priority Mail. It is not entirely due to Covid, the new Post Master has been doing some tweaking to make things "more efficient"

Yes, I watch and read a lot of news (and we get a lot of U.S. news here in Canada), so I've heard about the U.S. Postmaster General. I hope that things get sorted out soon.

I also have seen some Canadian sellers on other sites have messages about Canada Post delays, as well as some negative feedback from buyers about the delivery delays. (Which certainly isn't fair.)

At this point in time, I'm not sure if I'm ready to open my shops again. Health issues, covid issues, and concerns about shipping.

Hi Madelaine. I was curious if sellers who ship internationally were receiving comments or complaints about delivery times, which would involve the seller's mail system plus the buyer's.

I reparcel items for shipping to Canada now and then - times seem to have been OK this year.

Yes. I've had a couple of buyers ask about items I had marked as shipped. One in the U.S. and one in France. They both did arrive, eventually. Our Post Office service has been severely impacted by political actions. I hope our new president can get it fixed.

I didn't understand the remark either. I keep out of commenting on the changes in the USA as I don't have a clue what the changes will mean
