Removing buyer questions?

What are the options when it comes to removing a buyer's question on the item page? Can it be made private or do I have to end the listing to get rid of it?

I think you can blackball the buyer to remove the question, and then take your buyer off the blackball list. Hope that makes sense.

alternatively, close the auction and start it again.

Thanks for the replies xx I might try the block/unblock thing as I can't relist or start again without losing all the 'bespoke' variations on it.

It's a clunky way to sort things though, wishing seller+ accounts had the option to email buyers directly.
