Yeh its good to see it mentioned and proves eBay is seeing more and more competition all be it from tiny sites but only resellers will see the name eBid and some will give it a try, however we need buyers to see the name which is the important part.

I found the comments about google and Item Specifics particularly interesting if I read them right.

It seemed to say that obays item specifics don't go with googles version, leading to less of their ads. being seen.

As they're yet again "improving" the site with hugely more complicated and numerous Specifics, perhaps this will further reduce their presence making it less likely that ebids (and other smaller sites) ads. are swamped??

Struck by these comments in particular: "...fundamentals such as good titles and keywords" ... as well as good pictures - all key to successful listings in my opinion. That's what sellers should focus on and let google do the rest for you...
