Advice with plants

Hi, I have a small flower bed in the most shaded corner of my garden. I would like something that flowers, grows to about 2-4 feet high, comes back every year and can survive in this dark corner. I would also like another plant that spreads on the ground that I could plant with the taller plant to take the cold look of the corner. Any advice on what 2 plants I should try would be very much appreciated

For height in shade, try Japanese Anemone. Flowers late summer and autumn
