    Thumbs up Facebook

Noticing a few more Facebook posts these days - and some from eBid too - very encouraging.

Do like or share them if you can to spread the word...

Good idea! I've recently sold a couple of items from the facebook posts (and I bought one, too!)

Not looked at promotion through Facebook.
To be honest I tend to suspect any advert on social media to be a scam, but not everyone is as sceptical as me!

My last two sales have been by Facebook promotions, both newcomers to eBid.

To be perfectly honest there's a load of scammers out there, hardly a day goes by without me reporting at least one dodgy ad on Facebook but they hardly ever do anything about it. Twitter seems better policed but I've never picked up a single sale from there

How do you present your adverts on Facebook?
I limit activity to friends and family, local neighbourhood groupe, and a community group I run.

There are a lot of buying and selling groups on there, I pick the ones closest to the products I sell and them promote one product or group of products per day to each group. The knack is to do it slowly, else Farcebook accuse you of spamming, and make it look more like an information post about that product than a direct sales post. I'm also interacting with a group of small businesses and we cross promote each others products

I just use the eBid related groups and it makes a difference.
