We had so many shared memories of the YDC and he was really grateful to have had the opportunity to raise money for some of his favourite military charities.

YDC was great - but, sadly, failed to attract extra support and we all had everything we could buy from it already!

It was a brilliant concept and worked for the time it was around.
So many fundraisers are no longer around and as you said, we couldn't get enough new people to join in that could have kept it going.

You and me both, but I'm not in a position now to get involved as I can't get to a post office and I'm no-where near anywher to buy up stuff to sell

I miss YDC too.
We raised lots of money for some great causes and at the same time had fun and ended up with stashes of stuff ... some of which came into great use as little stocking fillers for my kids and grandchildren.
I think YDC went downhill when we lost some of the great stalwarts - most especially our dearest meebo and Annie.
