How Can I Set Buying To Uk Only?

I'm in the UK and I only want to buy in the UK, but 1) the search results don't show where the items for sale are. 2) most items I click on are in the USA. 3) I cannot find any way of setting my buying to UK only. Without a UK only option, ebid is useless to anyone in the UK. No mention of this in the ebid FAQs.
