I have over 3000 listings on Ebid for a month with no response. i do not know what to do. Should I put them in Auctions? If so how? Can they be Purchased if they are not in Auction. No responses? Does that mean that I am not set up right??? Please explain?

    Hi OWH,
I clicked on one listing and it went though to BIN/Offer - so it does seem to be OK. It always seems to me that Auction isn't that successful on eBid and BIN works better and does help with more sales (just my opinion).
You do seem to have a lot of duplication in your listings - which can result in listings being pulled - other sellers will know for sure if that could happen and will, hopefully, comment and give you more information.
    All the best,
    Marie.

    @OWHMebid

    I'm in USA eBid.
One thing is that I automatically went into Store Membership, so that my per listing knowledge is so so on the cost.

As far as auctions, I found only certain categories (USA) do well in auctions such as coins and stamps. ( I believe they have a following )

Whether you have a store or not :
    1) I would not use "Run Until Sold" option. It drops you down in the searches.
( In my STORE: I use renewal 30 days / 10 times - Then I know I have 10 months before I have to update again unless I doing regular listing changes )

    2) You have some missing pictures on some of the listings.

    3) Your shipping costs:
The listings that have c Desc has some type of problem that it is not calculating or ? ? ?
I guess I would review your shipping to your "flat rate" shipping to calculating.

    4) It looks like you have duplicate listings.
    They have the same pictures.
    * Now some of the same pictures you have a different size, - you may want a different picture for the size difference.
    * Some of the same picture have different prices. Not sure if they are duplicates of their is a difference.
If you have multiples of used or new items, and there is a problem with one of them - take separate pictures for that listings.
Example : sometimes I have the same size/color top, but one of them might have a minor flaw.
I would take pictures of both items and list them in separate listings. One of them will have a lower price because of a minor flaw.

I see that you have a website. You can mention that you have this site to sell items for your organization.

At one time, I noticed on the homepage items being sold by a thrift shop in Indiana.
They made their customers aware of the eBid store that they have and had things for sale.
They seemed to have pretty good sales among their customers and then they picked up their items.
( Yes, there store was for pick up only and some how they made it work )

I hope this will help you and I hope I was able to explain myself.

    Hi Police,
In your above answer you say: '( In my STORE: I use renewal 30 days / 10 times'
How do you do that? I've looked to increase the renewal time, but have not found how this can be done.
Sorry to interrupt a thread, but don't where else to find this info,
    Marie.

    @pastime

When editing or adding your items . . . .

Scroll down to about the middle of the listing form.

On the right side there is : AUTO POST
Use the drop down menu and select the number of times to relist ( that's where I use 10 times )

Then go just below that and you will see CLOSING:
I chose After and then select the number of days ( I use 30 days)

    Name: a ebid days.jpg
Views: 39
Size: 25.1 KB

Others will have there items reposted in a shorter amount of time.
For me, I still work and there are long days, that for me, I know that before 10 months, I need to get things done.
I do some editing through those months, but the time isn't on my side right now.

    I hope this helps you.

Gosh, I've given it a try! I had no idea that you could do that.
Thanks, Police - you're obviously good at all this stuff - I spend my time being baffled.
Many thanks for taking the time to reply.
    All the best,
    Marie.
