    Thumbs down Support Failure

Contacted support to delete just 113 listings that I could not ... they took the shortcut route and deleted all 2056 stating that it would be easier to start again - NO it isn't!

Very disappointed in their poor performance.

You could ask support to reinstate what they deleted, if you do not have archive yourself.
Too late for this safeguard, you download a copy of all your live auctions before dealing with an issue of mass deletion. Then you could reload the file if there is a problem, or select the deletions and change column Y to d and then upload that to delete your auctions.

They deleted all my items when my account were put on hold, They reinstated all my listings but all my google links were dead, its a pain to have to start again after all the hard work you put in, since they did this to my account none of my items no longer appear on google shopping, i keep listing a few more items on ebay, costs more but its so much easier. i prefer it here but after they put my account on hold the google shopping option is set to no and its greyed out and support don't seem to be able to change this, its their site so not sure why,i just keep going around in circles, oh well rant over

I do keep regular backup .txt files of all my listings fortunately ... but reinstating them was slow by category + having to make sure I remove all the sold items too ...

The fact that support were simply incapable of deleting 113 records from a spreadsheet I find unbelievable. I used to manage databases for a living and this would not have been a difficult to do as an administrator.

hi 20sent06, can you give me the support ticked number and I'll find out what happened.

Do you want me to reinstate the 2056 removed listings?
