Thread: Immediate Payment On Buy Now

  1. #1

Thumbs down Immediate Payment On Buy Now

    Hi,

I'm very unsatisfied with buyers clicking buy now who have no intention of actually paying for my products, yet I still getting charged for the auction
It would be better if ebid could supply a option on our auctions where the buyer at to immediately pay for the item or the transaction won't complete.

    Cheers,
    Darren

But what about the people who want to pay by cash/postal order/cheque? How would that work?

is this an option for the seller ie BIN pay now via pppay for example, or will it cause probs as the above post suggests?

I would think it would be the same as t'other side where you are required to go to checkout immediately .. meaning that the seller is notified immediately as to which method of payment the buyer will be using ... either instant payment made online or instant notification that cheque/postal order will be sent followig day.

Of course you hav eno guarantee that a postal payment will be made promptly however that is, as always, something people have to weigh up in deciding if postal payment is a method they want to have for BIN's.

    Hugs,

The immediate payment via PPPay.com will be an option shown to the buyer (only if the seller accepts PPPay).

Other payment methods are optional and can be dealt with in the usual way.
