I didn't pop by the forums when I was a newbie and wish that I had done so - I am still on a learning curve and the members (and management) have been so helpful to me, nothing has been too much trouble to show me the way. Everyone has been (and still are) so helpful, I now enjoy my daily visits to the forums.

I read these emails everyday and the sense that I am receiving is in order to get some traffic to listings, sellers need to interact in these forums on a regular basis. Please, anyone correct me if I am wrong. If this is the case, I admit it will be difficult for me to do so because I need to run the business and manage multiple aspects of it. This would be unfortunate considering that we access to hundreds of thousands of products that we would like to post here. The low fees are attractive, but we need traffic to our store. Any suggestions?

You don't HAVE to, but I think it helps for some products. Making an appearance and/or logging in weekly, at least, lets people know you haven't gone walkabout and left your items dangling.

I do participate in the forums, but the majority of my sales are not to forum members. But I sell collectibles and I have learned most of my buyers have found my items via google searches.

I agree.....never thought about the percentage of sales from any particular source.......YDC excluded. PRobably more buyers find me from google.

Hi just joined because ebay is a rip off and jerks. i am finding it easy to list however i am noticing that my pictures are not showing up when searching for my listings can anyone tell me why that is? Please help i would appreciate it. Thank you
