    C'mon folks

When talking about things such as site structure, can we keep it to one thread - one topic please?

The admins have more or less admitted they ignore or "botton-shelf" threads that get too complex - and that's understandable from a site management point of view.

OK, sorry, .... come on - let's have this top level category created!
    Madelaine

I have two ebid stores. This is for Cats Protection;Lots of beanies, fast food toys, random collectables, some new children's clothes - almost anything really.
this is business and sells skeleton leaves, Thai silk, various vintage postcards, more random collectables
    Both sell discontinued china tableware.

And that's with about 100 of my listings for the category currently closed for editing.

C'mon G&M - live up to your promise
In the past you've claimed to be busy launching the international sites - you've now got 3 of them up and running, so how about some attention to the complaints from YOUR CUSTOMERS before launching any more sites?

We're building an admin facility for ourselves that moves categories up and down levels... Its completely different than creating new categories... We'll move it up to the top level when its ready.

    But you promised .....

First, if it hit 1000 listings then it goes to top level, then ....
If it goes to 2000 listings it goes to top level

You're moving the damned goalposts again !!!! >

Getting close to a trading standards complaint this - promising one thing to paying customers then delivering another

Fitness of use under distance selling regs also come to mind - many of us have increased our listings to meet your promises - with that comes increased workload and expense for us (connection and admin time, plus stock buying and photography etc.)

You're getting close to starting an eBay-Spain style rebellion here mate.
