Fill in the blank (competition help)

There’s a competition on the local radio at the moment – it’s Michelle Yeoh (ex bond girl) talking about the 40th Anniversary of James Bond and the New Bond. They blank out a word and you have to guess the correct word.

This has now been running since before Christmas and no-one has got it yet – any ideas? It’s driving me mad!

This is the comment:

“There are 40 years of filmgoers who want a different bond, or want a particular bond. It’s 40 years of [blank], but I think the producers have chosen wisely this time.”

Any ideas?

History would go - I don't think the others would fit in though - I think it is along the lines of all the Bonds being stereotyped and samey (although I could be wrong).

(Stereotyped has been used btw!)

LOL - well there are a lot of Bond fans out there. And it is only one word that fills the blank.
