    Hello!
As I don't really follow a particular path nor belong to a coven, I'm what would be called a "solitary eclectic" around here. Signed up at Witchvox.com to see what some others were doing in this part of the world, and it seems like there is a lot of emphasis on talking about getting together to talk some more......so I'll probably stay home and continue the laborious process of actually getting up and running here on ebid!

    Thumbs up Another Solitary Eclectic

MM All - Tis I, another solitary eclectic. I have also been into metaphysics and parapsychology for 35 years. I love to go to Brushwood and attend the Sirius Rising and Starwood Festival every year.

A most interesting thread. While I don't consider myself a pagan nor of any other organized religious sect, I am a believer in the right of all todo their own thing as long as it doesn't intefer with anyone elses right to do theirs. I guess you could say I believe in being tolerant of everyones beliefs.

For those that have come to know me elsewhere, you will probably understand me when I say that I have a somewhat inquisitive nature. I find the subjects of Paganism, Wicca, Witchcraft and other spiritualistic beliefs and rituals fascinating.

Although not of Native American descent myself, I find that I am particularly interested in the culture of our indiginous peoples. So much so that in addition to deveolping an appreciation of their art and crafts, some of my friends say that I've adopted some unique aspects of their various peoples. All I can say to this is that, while I value each of their cultures and traditions equally, I value man's individuality above all.

With your indulgence, I will continue to visit this thread and others of its nature to ask questions and gain knowledge of the beliefs which you practice.

    Peace!

    Dennis

    Hi Dennis!
Welcome to eBid, and welcome to this thread. If you poke around this Spirituality category you will see that this has been an area for respectful discovery for people of many inclinations.

While some pagans consider themselves to be part of a larger set of folks, others feel they have stepped away from any kind of organization at all. It really boils down to the individuality you mention. Think I'll leave it at that and let other people step up if they choose, rather than yammer on......

This is pow wow season, you might want to have a peek at powwows-dot-com to see what is going on in your area

    Merry Meet all,

I am new to this site after getting fed up with the rising fees of the "other" site.

I too follow a random path of Paganism, although i dabble in many various areas of this I would generally call myself an Elemental Kitchen Witch.

I have an interest in Runes, Tarot, Ogham, Meditation, Shamanism, Herbs and Aromatherapy, just to mention a few.

It is nice to know how open people are here on their various paths of life.

    Merry Part and Bright Blessings
