A clear night sky could afford people living in parts of the UK the chance to see a spectacular meteor shower.
The Orionid meteor shower is expected to send bright streaks of light across the sky as frequently as once every two minutes on Sunday.
With no moon to outshine them, the meteors could be spectacular for people living in southern England and parts of Scotland. Elsewhere cloud will obscure the view.
Forecaster Brendan Jones, from the MeteoGroup, said: "Everywhere from Norfolk in East Anglia down to Bristol and south-east Wales is pretty clear so there is a pretty good chance of seeing the meteor shower.
