I know there are a couple of Reading/Berkshire peeps in here.
This is addressed to you:
Do you know a good roofer in the area??
We have been trying to get somebody to look at our roof for month and nobody comes back to us!! Is it because there are so few around, or they just can't be bothered?

I don't know the area But We had the same problem. They came around to have a look then nothing! then a Third one came around and Fixed it on the spot (Two tiles!) but they "Found" Extra work.. Which I knew needed to be done 13 years ago!

I think its probally just not worth the effort for them...(:

Maybe they think the job too small but you can go to your local trading standards and ask them to supply you with some local verified roofers. Then at least the job will be recommended & you know you wont get ripped off.

Loving the ripped off bit,as tiles ripped off then the other ripped off.Love some humour on here.Afternoon Caroline,am off to work,for a couple of hours....

Thanks for that, but we tried it already and got nothing out of it...
