greenmasons, it's a superb idea. However, I can forsee it being a lot of work for you if you intend to take charge of the project. To be fair, if you take this on, you really need to get something for your time. Advertising fees and any revenue from adsense and the like should really go to you or whoever takes on the task. It's only fair.

Like Simon says, NYK already has a website set up like this, but another website can't hurt. The more interlinking sites we have, the stronger the network and it'll probably mean an increase in search engine rankings as well.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that Gazza would like us to use the phrase 'eBid online auctions' as much as possible on our own (non-eBid) web-pages, MySpace etc., in order to bump-up eBid's rankings. I'm already using this phrase as much as I can. So this may be something else to bear in mind when launching new eBid-related sites.

Good afternoon!
Thank you all for replying and adding the constructive ideas in this topic. After careful consideration I think my overall goal was to increase peoples awareness of eBid but maybe in a way that has already been looked into.
I still plan to go ahead with a different idea, which is building websites for store owners and then hosting them. I think this may be a better way of increasing awareness because it will target people searching for specific products on search engines. i.e. type PC software and my own website comes up...which then goes to my eBid store.
That would ultimately mean having control over how much coverage I get rather than eBid deciding how much i get...because as is said many times in here self publicity will very likely lead to more views than sitting around waiting for things to happen.

I see that you have Original Arts listed in the arts section seem to be breaching several copyrights to my knowledge is this someone peddling Chinese knock offs, not a brilliant advertisement for ebid.
