Fair enough if she's worked for eBay then it could mean a complete overhaul and revitalisation of Tazbar... But that doesn't have to mean it will be done for the good of the Sellers!!
I hear the rattling of plenty of money tins and 9% FVF's before to long

I thought it was 15p FVF for anything up to 99p for basic sellers?

I'll be keeping 10 items listed without a gallery until late December in a vain attempt to catch some Christmas sales - then I will use my time on more worthwhile ventures - lovely to be back guys

I think the suggestion that Ms Warke worked for ebay was a joke, based on her, obviously finely honed, communication skills!

LOL Everyone really had me going then with thinking she was an ex-feeBay manager!

3% FVF sounds reasonable BUT if the minimum charge is 15p you could actually end up paying 15% FVF if you sell items at £1

I suppose the tactic here is to push you onto the membership rates!
I've read on some forums of people completely dismissing eBid because 'eBid has already put in place a membership scheme with monthly charges'... What they fail to point out is that Basic Sellers can list UNLIMITED products with 3% FVF (No minimum!) and £99.99 or under gets you Life-time membership.

At my current age and roughly working out my life expectancy thats around 0.60p a Year if I sell for my entire life-time and eBid still exists LMAO. Incredible Value for Money and as eBid gets bigger and Sales increase I will still be a lifetime member

Don't they have forums on Tazbar where you could thrash it out with the owners/management?

why do you think the Tazzers are so miffed?.

Management hid the announcement behind a tiny link on Friday - most of the members didnt know about the changes till Tuesday and the member who told us about the new fees has been suspended - that's what happens when we try to thrash it out on the forums.

The forums are monitored so strictly that it is like the mods are thought police - so NO - there is no-where there we are free to thrash things out

of course they do, Susan, and one person is already banned for the comments he made. Management over here are unlikely to take a lot of notice if we object to their policy, but at least they have always rewarded loyalty. To pay more there than I do here is obviously a non-starter. One look at the compared traffic stats on Alexa shows that.

If it was me, I'd simply quit and concentrate on eBid
If you have the option to leave a few listings that are absolutely free, then fine, but I certainly wouldn't waste my time, effort or money promoting them. I did look into the company structure when I first heard of them (heard on here) but as soon as I saw director changes, address changes, change of company secretary etc, etc, etc my guess was that it's one of those .com business 'investments' that someone is trying to prime for buy out. I also read somewhere here about the money they are (or were?) spending on TV advertising (still never heard of them other than on eBid) but I have never ever received a press release concerning company growth, expansion or their potential for entry into any stockmarket. I did, however, see a note about one Lee Markham living in France. Perhaps said Jane Warke bought his shares, hence her ability to use the term 'director' of anything. In fact, I have never received a press release relating to said company EVER.
