Are we allowed to list times that come direct from the supplier or we need to own the items in our own hands?
From what i understand we cant have pre-sell auctions for items that are about to come out such as new games?

Don't see why not. That's how I sell my items.

I think that if people are aware that the item is from a dropshipper, they're not too bothered as they know what they are getting into. But when this important fact is not mentioned, and the buyer later finds out, it becomes extremely annoying.
Personally, I avoid dropshipped auctions whenever I can. I don't like the fact that the seller has not actually seen the specific item they are sending and therefore cannot guarantee it's quality or suitability. They also can't guarantee the delivery time when items are sent from abroad.
As far as the rules go, I haven't actually seen it mentioned anywhere. Perhaps an email to support@ebid.tv would resolve the issue?
Sounds like trouble to me, but may work for others

Hi guys,
I've used dropshippers for a long time, not with my gemstones though. And have never had a problem (touch wood!) Usually I buy one for myself to photograph first, so I don't have that stock standard pic in my listings. You should always state how long it's going to take to receive the items!
Other than the time delay, the only thing that can go wrong is the supplier is out of the product. But, that can be overcome by regularly checking (once per day or two) the inventory levels of everything you are selling. Especially when the inventory is getting low.
Good luck with your sales gamezone :0)

Just about everything I have listed here is dropshipped.
I use about 10 different dropshippers and have had no problems with them at all as I checked them out with more experienced sellers.
I also approach businesses which products I want to sell and most are happy to dropship for me.
What I get from dropshipping is a lot of positive feedback from customers relating to delivery times and packaging - neither of which is down to me - the actually make me look good.
I'm also able to make a much wider range of items available to my customers and will take requests like 'have you got that one in blue' - or' I see you have a crystal teddy bear - have you got a panda?'. Then I will track down what the customer wants and list it.
Dropshipping can be hard work - especially when having to check for discontinued and out of stock items and then checking the 10+ places I trade on.
I have also dropshipped on feebay and had no problems at all. All my auctions bar one on here at the moment are droshipped and the delivery really is very fast. I wouldnt be using them if I was unhappy with the service I received from them
do you all state the items are drop shipped because if i were to buy i would want to know
I always say that items will be sent directly from 'my supplier'
Where do you think the majority of mail order companies source their stock?
I regularly see items I sell in mail order catalogues - they even use the same photos from my suppliers' websites
